Presidential Medals will be awarded during the 125th Anniversary Celebration. Provost’s Colloquium Series Presents a Talk on U.S.-Japan Security Alliance and Peace in Asia

The ESU Provost’s Colloquium Series will continue this spring. The new semester of lectures begins with a presentation “U.S. – Japan Security Alliance and Peace in Asia” by Ko Mishima, Ph.D., associate professor of political science. The talk will be held in Beers Lecture Hall on February 7, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

East Stroudsburg University Introduces Warrior Promise; Incoming Students Guaranteed No Tuition Increases First Four Years

New students enrolling at East Stroudsburg University (ESU) for fall 2018 are getting a promise – the promise of a guaranteed, fixed, four-year tuition rate.  This new initiative, the Warrior Promise, guarantees students they will pay the same tuition rate, without an increase, for the next four years.

New Graduate Degree Program in Communication Approved for East Stroudsburg University

The Board of Governors of Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education approved a master’s degree in communication for East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania on Thursday, January 25.   This new 30-33 credit graduate degree will officially be implemented in summer/fall of 2018 and is geared toward those interested in a professional or academic career in the field. ESU’s new program is among six that were approved by the Board of Governors, representing the State System universities’ latest efforts to address the changing needs of students and employers in Pennsylvania and beyond.

ESU Kicks Off 125th Anniversary Year with Food Drive, Time Capsule

ESU will celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2018. The year-long celebration began on January 22 with the opening of a time capsule that was buried during ESU’s centennial celebration in 1993.
