Department of Music To Present Senior Recital Featuring Guitarist, Michael A. Peragallo
East Stroudsburg University’s Department of Music will present a senior recital featuring Michael A. Peragallo, guitar, 7 p.m. Saturday, December 8 at the Cecilia S. Cohen Recital Hall in the university’s Fine and Performing Arts Center, Normal and Marguerite streets, East Stroudsburg.
The program spans guitar music from the Renaissance to the twentieth century, and includes movements from J. S. Bach’s Lute Suite 995 and Recuerdos De La Alhambra By Francisco Tarrega.
Peragallo is a senior majoring in fine arts-music with a concentration in applied music. He is a guitarist for the University Jazz Ensemble and has performed at several Winds and Friends concerts. A resident of Pocono Pines, he is a son of John and Joanne Peragallo of Centereach, New York.
Peragallo is a guitar student of Charles Truitt. Dr. Otis French, associate professor of music at ESU, is faculty adviser for the concert.
