Robert Moses, director of residence life and housing at East Stroudsburg University, received the Dr. Suzanne S. Brown Distinguished Service Award at the 2017 Pennsylvania Student Affairs Conference.

In his 42-year tenure at ESU Moses has engaged in philanthropy both on and off campus and has always put students first. He is well respected among his academic and non-academic colleagues and his persistence and collaborative work with many faculty has translated into the growth of programs such as living-learning communities. His dedication to quality housing programs led to a seamless transition with the university’s housing management vendor. The residence life staff agrees that he is not just a mentor for the people that he supervises, he is an investor.” Moses participates in 61 campus-wide committees.

Congratulations Bob! You fantastically support students! And, you help us all better understand the students’ needs as residents, not only academicians.

Such a well deserved honor! He has made such a difference on the campus and in the lives of all those he has crossed paths with over the years.

When thinking back on my college experience at ESU, he stands out as as an incredible role model who leads by example!

Congrats to Dean Moses!!! And thank you for helping me become the person and leader I am today!

I was a resident in Shawnee Hall in 1985-86 and always recall you being a true mentor and leader to us “freshman” new to the college life. Congrats on a well deserved award. I am very happy for you

Congratulations Dean Moses. Well deserved. It was a great learning experience for my future career to work with you in student housing as well as other organizations. You are a role model as an administrator and as a person.
