ESU Joins County-Wide Effort to Pick Up the Poconos

On Saturday, September 29 approximately 80 students, faculty, staff, administrators, and alumni from East Stroudsburg University participated in a county wide cleanup effort initiated by the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau.
During the Pick Up The Poconos event, members of the ESU community volunteered their time to clean up garbage in the East Stroudsburg Borough.
They covered 5.26 miles including areas on Prospect Street, East Brown Street, Smith Street, Normal Street, Greentree Drive, Forge Road and Lincoln Avenue.
A total of 101 bags of garbage were collected by the ESU volunteers. To view photos visit our Flickr gallery.
