East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) recently signed a reverse transfer agreement with County College of Morris (CCM) in Randolph, N.J.The reverse transfer agreement is unique and important because it allows former County College of Morris students to transfer coursework from ESU to the college to complete their associate degrees.
“This collaboration between our institutions only serves to strengthen our partnership and demonstrates the commitment by ESU and CCM to student success,” said ESU President Marcia G. Welsh, Ph.D. “The reverse transfer agreement will allow CCM students to seek alternative options to complete their associate degrees and give them the confidence and encouragement to continue towards a bachelor’s degree with us.”
About 80 CCM students are currently enrolled at ESU.
“This agreement offers former CCM students enrolled at ESU an additional incentive for applying their university credits to both an associate and bachelor’s degree,” noted CCM President Edward J. Yaw, Ph.D.“By doing so, these students can receive the recognition they deserve for the work and effort they put in at CCM, along with the opportunity to list multiple degrees on their resumes and maintain a lifelong connection with two institutions of higher education.”
