ESU’s McMunn Planetarium Hosting Double Feature Sky Show, December 5

East Stroudsburg University invites the general public to attend a double feature sky show titled “Long Winter Nights” and “Passport to the Universe.” The first double feature starts at 7 p.m. and the second starts at 8 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014. The shows will be held in the McMunn Planetarium on the lower level of the Warren E. ’55 and Sandra Hoeffner Science and Technology Center.

“Long Winter Nights” explores the sights of the local evening skies during this time of year while “Passport to the Universe” explains the location of our planet and solar system in the vast cosmos.

The program is open to the general public. Tickets are $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for children under 12 or seniors over 60.

Tickets are available now at http://quantumnew.esu.edu/museum/?page_id=23. No tickets are available at the door. Programs are suitable for children but be advised that the planetarium will be quite dark during the sky show and feature show.
