East Stroudsburg University’s Student Senate hosted its 14th annual Teddy Bear Drive on Saturday, December 7, in the Keystone Room where more than 150 children and their parents gathered together to play games, do arts and crafts, enjoy snacks and desserts and be entertained by characters such as SpongeBob and Mike from Monsters, Inc.

Each child opened a gift and picked out a teddy bear with the help of elves. A raffle allowed the Student Senate to give away three small Christmas trees and other decorations. Santa and Mrs. Claus were also on hand to take present requests from children and pose for pictures. Student Senate President Justin Amann said the turnout was significantly larger than it had been in the past and called it a “huge accomplishment.”
