The University Dance Team at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania will host its third annual showcase at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 11 and 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 12. Each performance will be held in the Abeloff Center for the Performing Arts.

This showcase will include 16 different dances ranging from hip hop, lyrical, jazz and tap. “The show will be filled with energy, entertainment, prizes, and a special guest performance,” Danielle France, a senior majoring in nursing from Dayton, N.J. and president of the dance team, said.

“The choreographers of these dances are 11 hardworking and dedicated students,” said Suzanne Prestoy, Ph.D., associate professor of nursing and adviser to the dance team. “Each student had the opportunity to use their own creativity to bring diversity within their dances and bring them to life.”

“A great amount of hard work has been put into this show simply because we love to entertain and want to share our love of dance with the community and university,” France said.

The performance is open to the public and tickets will be sold at the door prior to each performance. Tickets are $3 for ESU students and $5 for general public. Students must show e-cards.
