East Stroudsburg University’s student group PRIDE (People Representing Individual Diversity in Education) will host guest speaker Tyler Titus. Titus became the first openly transgender person to be elected in Pennsylvania when he won a seat on the Erie School Board in 2017. He will speak on campus on March 22, 2018, in Stroud Hall room 113 at 7:30 p.m.

Titus will share his experiences during the campaign, discuss issues of political discourse and the overall political process. He will also speak of the importance of minority representation in elected positions, and offer advice for those looking to enter the political arena.

This event is free of charge and open to the public. Members of the audience will be encouraged to ask questions and voice their concerns and ideas.
