Foundation Names Three New Board Members

Robert Willever ’75, East Stroudsburg University Foundation Board Chair, has announced the appointments of three new members to its Board of Directors. ESU alumna Wendy Jankoski ’82 of Englewood, Fla., retired staff member Robert Moses of Shawnee On Delaware, and student liaison Danielle Turner ‘20 were appointed during the board’s last quarterly meeting held on May 10, 2018.

Jankoski serves as president of Wealth Architects, LLC. Moses retired this year from his position as director of residence life and housing at ESU. Turner is majoring in hotel, restaurant, and tourism management. Their terms began on July 1, 2018.

“On behalf of the ESU Foundation Board of Directors, I wish to express our gratitude to these three new members for agreeing to serve in these important roles. I am confident that they will make immediate contributions to the ESU community by furthering the goals of the ESU Foundation. Their expertise in finance, community relations, and fundraising makes them tremendous assets and additions to the Board of Directors and the ESU Foundation,” said Willever.

The ESU Foundation Board of Directors includes 16 members who serve in support of the organization and its mission. Members of the Board of Directors are Robert Willever ’75, chairman; Dr. Frank M. Pullo ’73 M’76, vice chairman; Christopher Yeager ’74 M’81, secretary; Robert A. Shebelsky, treasurer; Harry F. Lee, Esq., council of trustees liaison; Dr. Elizabeth Leigh Smith, faculty liaison; David A. Super ’80, alumni association liaison; Danielle Turner ’20, student liaison; William B. Cramer, Esq., MaryEllen Dickey ’80; Raymond Hamlin, Esq. ’86; Douglas Leonzi ’94; Geoffrey Roche M’15; Adam Stauffer ’00 M’02; Wendy Jankoski ’82; and Robert Moses.

The mission of the ESU Foundation is to secure philanthropic support for scholarships, academic and athletic programs, student activities, and capital improvements. Two key initiatives for the foundation during the 2018-2019 academic year include garnering support for the nursing department’s simulation lab and the biology department’s DNA lab.
