Madelon Powers Gallery at ESU to Present Senior Seminar and Portfolio in Art Student Exhibition

The Madelon Powers Gallery of East Stroudsburg University will feature art works and portfolios of selected students in a Senior Seminar and Portfolio in Art Student Exhibition April 29-May 13.

Hours for the gallery, located in the university’s Fine & Performing Arts Center, Normal and Marguerite streets, are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday.

A reception for the artists will be held Wednesday, May 8 from 4-6 p.m. in the gallery.  Both the exhibit and reception are open to the public at no cost.

The exhibit will features works by fourteen senior art and design majors: Alma Barrantes of Analomink, Pa.; Meghan Butler of Montrose, Pa.; Kelsey Charzewski of Monroe Twsp., N.J.; Lauren Converse of Sellersville, Pa.; Samantha Garcia of East Stroudsburg, Pa.; Shane Gillispie of Hatboro, Pa.; Lindsay Godin of Lebanon, N.J; Kerry Greco of RiverEdge, N.J.; Chad Jacobson of Montoursville, Pa.; Drew Lingle of Coopersburg, Pa.; Tyler Lovenstein of Reinholds, Pa.; Andrea Lukasko of Richboro, Pa.; Caitylyne Steininger of Hanover Twsp., Pa.; and Adam Ward of Allentown, Pa.

Four junior art and design majors also will be included in the exhibit: Henry Becker of Albrightsville, Pa.; Shanna Bridglal of East Stroudsburg; Heather Magnano of Stroudsburg, Pa; and Melody Rivera of Portland, Pa.

Other student exhibitors will include three art and design majors who have undertaken independent studies with art department faculty during the last academic year: David Fox, a junior from Millersville, Pa.; Lauriel Gingrich, a senior from East Stroudsburg; and Erin Le Pera, a senior from Phillipsburg, N.J.
