Musicians Invited to Join Two Musical Groups at ESU

Musicians are invited to join two musical groups at East Stroudsburg University: the East Stroudsburg University/Community Orchestra and the East Stroudsburg University/Community Concert Band.

The East Stroudsburg University/Community Orchestra is preparing for its fall concert on Wednesday, November 19. Rehearsals take place every Wednesday from 7 – 9 p.m. in the Cecilia S. Cohen Recital Hall of the university’s Fine and Performing Arts Center, Normal and Marguerite streets, East Stroudsburg.

Musicians who play band instruments are welcome to join the East Stroudsburg University/Community Concert Band as it prepares for its December 7 concert, which will feature a wide variety of music. Rehearsals are held on Mondays from 7 – 9 p.m. resuming September 8 in the Cecilia S. Cohen Recital Hall at the university’s Fine and Performing Arts Center, Normal and Marguerite streets, East Stroudsburg. Community members age 16 or older are welcome to join the University/Community Concert Band no later than Monday, September 22. Members are expected to have previous wind band experience.

There is no membership fee for either musical group, and prior signup is not required. Interested musicians should simply report to rehearsals.
