As part of East Stroudsburg University’s Fall 2017 Provost’s Colloquium Series, James Hunt, Ph.D., associate professor of biology, will present “Exploring the Effects of Climate Change on Our Oceans.” The talk will be held in Beers Lecture Hall on November 8, 2017 from 5:30-7 p.m.

In August 2017 Dr. Hunt traveled to the subarctic North Pacific Ocean where he studied plankton responses to climate change. Hunt realized that there is little research on the function that oceans play in distributing planetary heat and set out to study climate effects on the oceans. Hunt will highlight his research and share his experience in the North Pacific.
