Spring 2012 registration preparations are still underway

  • The Spring 2012 Class Schedule will be viewable through the myESU portal by Monday, October 31st.
  • Before students can register, they need to obtain a registration (alternate) PIN from their advisor. Students need make an appointment with their advisors to receive this PIN. Spring 2012 registration (alternate) PINs are being set today, 10/27/11.
  • Priority registration for special populations is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 7th.
  • Regular registration is scheduled to begin on Thursday, November 10th. Please see the breakdown of start times for groups based on the student class standing which is viewable for students in the Student Academic Profile toolbox in the myESU portal as follows:
    • All Graduate students can begin registering on Thursday, November 10th.
    • All Undergraduate Seniors can begin registering on Thursday, November 10th.
    • All Undergraduate Freshmen can begin registering on Monday, November 14th.
    • All Undergraduate Juniors can begin registering on Thursday, November 17th.
    • All Undergraduate Sophomores can begin registering on Monday, November 21st.
    • With department assistance, all new spring 2012 students (i.e. first time freshmen, new transfers and readmitted students) can begin registering on Monday, November 28th.
  • Please note that registration holds are still being posted to students’ accounts. Some holds such as the Health Center (that is, Health Forms Missing) and Past Due (that is, outstanding balance not yet paid) may already appear on students’ accounts. All registration holds need to be resolved before a student can register for the upcoming semester.
  • The Banner Team has worked on designing a new degree audit tool to help faculty advisors and students with managing requirements that students need to completed in order to graduate in different degree programs. Information on accessing and working with this degree audit tool, DegreeWorks will be sent in a subsequent email.
  • Additional detailed information about registration procedures such as Wait Listing and How to Obtain a Registration Override permits will be posted to the myESU portal and sent via email to everyone prior to actual start of registration.
