The University Dance Company Presents its Fall Dance Performance

The East Stroudsburg University Dance Company presents its Fall Dance Performance, which kicks off next week with four shows in the Abeloff Center for Performing Arts.

The first show is open dress rehearsal Wednesday, November 20, at 7 p.m. and all seats are only $1 for this event. There will also be performances at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, and Friday, November 22. The final show will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 23. This is a semi-annual recital that includes routines by students, faculty and guest artists.

The event is sponsored by artistic director, Elizabeth Gibbons, Ph.D., ESU professor of movement activities and lifetime fitness. The student participants include Heather Williams, a freshman majoring in early childhood education from Ridley, Pa.; Mahea Bowen, a freshman majoring in hospitality from Quakertown, Pa.; Kimberly Rittel, a junior majoring in social work from Mechanicsburg, Pa.; Jessica Gigantino, a sophomore majoring in early childhood special education from Mt. Ephraim, N.J.; Kaitlynne Siley, a sophomore majoring in social work from Philadelphia, Pa.; Darby Owen, a freshman majoring in early childhood education from Monroe, N.J.; Kaitlin Constantine, a sophomore majoring in early childhood special education from East Stroudsburg, Pa.; Marissa Kvacky, a freshman majoring in biology and secondary education from Bath, Pa.; Courtney Bush, a junior majoring in media communication and technology from New Hartford, Conn..; and Michelle Zbinden, a junior majoring in social work from Milford, Pa.

Tickets will be available at the door for a fee of $8 to the general public, $6 for ESU faculty and staff and $4 for students (with ID), children and senior citizens.
