ESU Planetarium to Host The Little Star that Could, at 7:00 and 8:00 PM, Friday, May 2 in the McMunn Planetarium in the Warren E. ’55 and Sandra Hoeffner Science and Technology Center. The show is open to the public at no cost, but reservations are required due to a limited number of seats. Reservations are taken on a first- come, first-served basis and should be made at www.esu. edu/planetarium starting at 8 a.m. on April 29. The program is suitable for children of all ages. Final Paper Push at the Writing Studio in the Kemp Library from April 28 – May 3. The Writing Studio is hosting Final Paper Push to help students with all their writing needs as the semester comes to a close. Come for one-on-one tutoring, free coffee and snacks, and a quiet study space. Open Monday – Thursday 1:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday 1:00 to 5:00 PM The last day is Monday, May 3.

Cultural Events

ESU’s Madelon Powers Gallery to Present Senior Seminar and Portfolio in Art Student Exhibition from April 23 to May 16. The exhibition will include works that students produced for various clients as part of the art department’s student design agency, New Mind Designs. Hours for the gallery: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM , Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. A reception for the artists will be Wednesday, April 23, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the gallery. Both the exhibit and reception are open to the public at no cost.
