Seeking Donations to Benefit Local Homeless Assistance Agencies! Students from the Foundations of Social Work Practice class are collecting non-perishable food, new or lightly used winter clothing for adults and children, and toiletries to benefit local community agencies assisting homeless families. Collection boxes will be placed in the University Center Commuter Lounge, University Bookstore, and Stroud 101. Collecting now until Friday December 6. Student Senate Seeking Donations for 14th Annual Teddy Bear Drive, 11:00 AM December 7. Please consider donating new or gently used toys for local families in need. Donations may be delivered to the Senate Office, University Center 219.

ESU’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Center is Teaming with Local Entrepreneurs to host “Innovators Only” Reception from 5 to 8:00 PM Monday, Nov. 25 at the Innovation Center. The “Innovators Only” reception provides an opportunity for ESU students to network with local entrepreneurs. Interested students and entrepreneurs are encouraged to register by contacting Danielle Benton at dbenton@esu.edu or 570-422-7905. The public is invited at no cost.

Final Paper Push at the Writing Studio. The Writing Studio is hosting Final Paper Push to help students with all their writing needs as the semester comes to a close. Join us in Kemp Library from December 2 – 6 for one-on-one tutoring, free coffee, free snacks, and a quiet study space. We are open Monday – Thursday 1:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday 1:00 to 5:00 PM Our last day is Sunday, Dec. 8.

Shoes that Fit Program: This community program, coordinated in conjunction with JM Hill Elementary, is for children in need of shoes, boots and coats for the winter. A bulletin board in the University Center contains cards that list the items each child needs. Please select a card and purchase the items for the child named on the card. Items
should be delivered to the Residence Life Office. If you have any questions, please contact Robert Moses or Tammy Baumgardner at ext. 3191 or 3732.

Saturday, Nov. 23, 10:00 PM – Be Thankful for Your Roommate at Minsi Lounge. Learn about CAB events and share your own ideas at the CAB open meetings every other Tuesday in the Shawnee Lounge at 2:00 PM Next Meeting: Tuesday, Dec. 3. Last one of the semester!
