Commuter Students make up 59% of the ESU student population. In SAA, we provide tangible ways for students to be involved in ongoing programming, as well as learn how to improve resources and services available to you.
Game Den Every Friday
We have a new space where students can hang out and celebrate the end of the week with video games, board games and free refreshments. Every Friday from 1:00-4:30pm in Rosenkrans East (Digital Media Technologies). Perfect for commuter students who’d like to engage on campus before heading home. We have computers set up with League of Legends and Fortnite, a giant screen with classic games, an array of fun card and board games to choose from, in addition to snacks and drinks to keep you fueled and ready to play.
Resources & Services
As a commuter student you have equal access to all resources and services available at ESU. In addition, we continue to search for ways to better serve you and provide the tool you need to succeed and enjoy your ESU home.
Comuter Council provides ongoing socials to engage with other Road Warriors like you, with free food, activities and giveaways.
Taking place in October, commuters participate in this overnight program where they get to make new friends while enjoying the outdoors.
As a commuter student, you have your own lounge in the first floor of the University Center where you can hang out and take a break from class.
Need to drop off books for a bit? Free lockers are available in the Commuter Lounge. Sign up at the front desk of the University Center.
The University Center offers several resources to serve all your needs, including: computer lab, dining, banking, bookstore, and more.
You have access to all of ESU’s services, which include: Health Center, Career Development Center, Greek Life, Club, Leagues, and Stony Acres.
