Starting Points on the Internet
for Science Education Resources
|
Note: This page was part of an introduction to the internet for science
teachers that I put together in 1995 because, at that time, there was very little on the
web dedicated to introducing teachers to science education resources.
It eventually evolved into a tutorial but I stopped working on it in 1998 simply
because, at that time, I felt the web had developed to a point where an introduction to the internet was no longer
necessary and, besides, the information on the web is so overwhelming it was no longer possible for me to keep up.
As such, I haven't worked on it much since 1998 except to delete some out-dated links. Feel
free to continue using it but be aware that many links no longer work.
This page is designed to highlight those sites on the web that contain a large amount
of resources and/or point to lots of other sites on the web. You are
urged to surf through the web on your own and discover resources that
meet your needs.
