On Thursday, April 18, East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania will hold an Earth Day celebration event from 1 to 4 p.m. on the main quad on campus. The theme for this year\u2019s event is \u201cBee Aware, Save the Bees.\u201d<\/p>\n
This year will mark the 49th<\/sup> anniversary of Earth Day, a day established for the purpose of bringing awareness to environmental concerns, instilling an appreciation for nature\u2019s role in all of our lives and to encourage a sense of action to conserve and protect nature\u2019s frailty.
