ESU Health Coaches will work to empower the participants to create and sustain healthy lifestyle behaviors that will be based on resilience, grit, and wellness. This is a collaborative, proactive and supportive approach to coach individuals through the exploration of increasing their own well-being.
Coaches will assist the participant in identifying one or more priorities that they would like to change or enhance in their lives. The participant and coach will recognize and celebrate together, the benefits of creating new, positive habits.
Together they will address and plan for barriers that could potentially get in the way of the participant achieving their goals and develop manageable solutions. Together, the coach and participant will create an action plan that incorporates realistic strategies and goals.
