Greg is the current Training Director, also know as Dj Gmoney and @ on Twitter. He is the DJ behind the Grunge Report and is part of HanginBang. He is a huge grunge and rock fan. He also enjoys weird/funny news stories, a good argument, and anything new in science and technology. To schedule a training session stop by his office hours or set up an appointment.

Shane is the current Sports Director at WESS radio, majoring in Communication Studies in Broadcasting. Aside from broadcasting live ESU sporting events, he joins Cory Nidoh as the co-host of Rush Hour Sports, Wednesdays from 5-6pm. He also joins Greg Curtis to argue his opinions on Hangin’ Bang Tuesday’s from 7-8pm.
You can tune into “Uchi Experience” from 10 to 11pm on Tuesday nights. Uchi plays everything from party music to electronic dance.
Chris Symonds is the DJ of “The Motherload” and “The Blacklist” playing everything from R & B and soul music to pop rock. You can catch him with his co-host B-Boy as the duo talks about life, music, and much more.
Steve has 2 shows here at WESS, “Alternating Currents” and “Jazz for the Common Man.” Steve’s shows air back to back 8am to 9am and 9am to 12pm respectively on Saturday mornings.
Rob is a Professor of Communication Studies at ESU, and is also the University Adviser to WESS Radio. He has hosted “The Talk Show” and “Stones Hour” on WESS for over 20 years.
Madame Raine is the DJ Producer of Sistah Chat Radio radio joined by frequent guests Deborah Cofer, Dr. Karlene Ferron, Sara Smith-Katz and Debbie Smith. This show is designed to educate, encourage, promote and support women’s ability to live their lives with passion, purpose and power. Currently, Alicia is a doctoral student conducting research in Innovative Initiatives in Public Education . She also works in the Career Development Center counseling undergraduates/alumni in career readiness and graduate schooling.
B-Boy Brandon has been making a big splash for 3 years now with his 2 shows, “The Motherload”and “Madness With B-Boy Brandon”, Fridays from 4 to 5pm and 5 to 6pm.
What’s going on everyone! Cherry Poppins is a graduate student in the Instructional Technology program here at ESU. Originally from Ft. Wayne, IN, she resides right here in East Stroudsburg, PA. She enjoys listening to the world around her, and blogs with her longtime cohost MellaDi. They started a new blog recently called Chronicles from 35th Ave , which we use as a platform to promote all different types of talent; from dancers to singers, rappers, MUA’s, models, photographers, graphic designers, and the list goes on and on. We like to refer to ourselves as A Voice for the Voiceless.
Rick Franzo is a WESS Alumni, having been a DJ while at ESU in the mid to late 80’s. He is the host of Catch The Brain Wave, one of the only shows on the planet focusing on brain tumors and brain cancers airing Fridays from 6-7pm. Rick is a 2x brain tumor survivor, and works for Barnes & Noble College Bookstore on the campus of ESU.
Lexie Peveraro is a Senior at ESU and has been a part of WESS since her freshman year. Live With Lexie is a fun and entertaining show with different music genres every week. Music can vary from hip-hop, R&B, old school 90s, alternative rock or music from Billboards Top 100. She has a “Did You Know” section that gives you the latest and most interesting facts. Live With Lexie airs every Wednesday from 3pm -4pm!
Taylor Drew is a junior majoring in Social Work. Starting back in 2013, she plays alternative and classic rock and throws a little bit of country in the mix on her show. Be sure to catch her show “Crossroads ” on Monday nights from 8-9pm.
Amber Jadus is a sophomore, majoring in Communications and a minor in Business Management. She enjoys playing tennis, friends, and almost any genre of music there is. Susie Forrester is a local freelance and fine art photographer, currently shooting for ESU. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Susie came to the Poconos to attend ESU, back in the day. A Sociology / Criminal Justice major, she took a photography class in her senior year…and this changed the direction of her life. After Tiara Talk ended its successful run in 2013, Turner then created The Tiara Talk Show, a YouTube channel talk show that invites actors, composers and cast members- anyone who has ever worked for the Walt Disney Company or its subsidiaries- to talk about working in various Disney projects, such as films, television shows and theme park attraction. Moota (“Hakuna Mootata”) is in her first year at East Stroudsburg University and is the newest DJ at WESS Radio. Majoring in Social Work and minoring in Communications, she enjoys everything life throws at her, along with the bands The Fray, One Republic and Imagine Dragons. Her favorite artist is Ed Sheeran.
