ESU to Present Winter Band Concert, December 7

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania’s University/Community Concert Band, a group featuring collaboration between student musicians and community members, will present a Winter Concert Sunday, December 7.
Curtain time for the concert, sponsored by the music department, is 7 p.m. in Cecilia S. Cohen Recital Hall of the university’s Fine and Performing Arts Center, Normal and Marguerite streets, East Stroudsburg. The performance is open to the public at no cost.
New compositions by contemporary American composers Rossano, Galante and James Hosay will be featured at the performance.
The concert also will include a musical commemoration of the events of Pearl Harbor day and a Holiday Finale by Leroy Anderson. Lance Rauh, temporary instructor of music, is director of the band.
