East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania recently signed a dual admission agreement with Bucks County Community College.
“This collaboration between our institutions only serves to strengthen our partnership and demonstrates the commitment by ESU and Bucks County Community College to student success,” said ESU President Marcia G. Welsh, Ph.D. “A dual admission agreement will help to create a seamless transfer of credits for students who are coming to ESU from Bucks County Community College with an associates degree.”
Bucks County Community College students will be required to complete a dual admissions intent form with their application to ESU for consideration. Students must graduate from Bucks with an associates degree and a minimum grade point average of 2.0. A full-time student who has completed the appropriate associates degree program at Bucks County Community College may be able to complete a bachelor’s degree at ESU within four regular semesters.
Founded in 1893, ESU is one of the 14 institutions in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. ESU offers 56 undergraduate degrees and 24 graduate degrees.
For more information about transferring to ESU, contact the office of admissions at 570-422-3834.
