Madelon Powers Gallery to Present Student Art Association Annual Juried Student Art Exhibit

The Madelon Powers Gallery of East Stroudsburg University will host the Student Art Association Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition March 23 to April 7.
Entries will include a wide range of artistic media, including paintings, graphic design, drawing, photography, sculpture, mixed media and 3D printed works All current ESU undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to submit works for possible inclusion in the exhibit.
Pocono artist Stephen Washington, who has worked in graphic design, photography and painting, is a juror for the exhibit. ESU President Marcia Welsh, Ph.D. also will serve as a juror for the exhibit.
The exhibition is being organized by the Student Art Association, a student organization that provides cultural opportunities for the campus and community.
Prizes will be awarded for the top three entries and for the best three-dimensional piece in the exhibit.
A reception for the artists and an award ceremony will be held Thursday, March 23 from 4 – 6 p.m. in the gallery. Both the exhibit and reception are open to the public at no cost.
Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
