East Stroudsburg University held a ribbon cutting on Friday, August 18 to officially open Sycamore Suites.
Sycamore Suites is the latest phase of the revitalization of on-campus student housing at ESU.
The residence hall will provide living accommodations for 496 students in four different suite styles and has two spacious lounges on the ground floor for student programs and co-curricular activities.
The building was constructed using sustainable practices, with individualized heating and air conditioning controls.
Another interesting feature is the building’s monument made of reclaimed bricks from the former Hawthorn and Hemlock residence halls that is situated on the adjacent patio.
