Kimberly S. Adams, Ph.D., professor of political science at East Stroudsburg University, was selected to give a presentation at the 9th Annual International Research Association for Interdisciplinary Studies (RAIS) Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities. The conference was held at Princeton University, in Princeton, N.J., April 4-5.
Dr. Adams presented “Motivation? The Effects of High Impact Experiential Learning Opportunities on Political Science Students.” Using participant observations and student journals recorded during their participation in the 2017 Presidential Inauguration Seminar and the 2016 Democratic and Republican academic seminars sponsored by the Osgood Center and the Washington Center, respectively, her presentation identified trends regarding the specific impact of such experiential learning opportunities on students studying political science.”
Adams was selected to serve as one of three session chairs for the conference and has been appointed to the Scientific Committee for RAIS.
