East Stroudsburg University to Present 31st Annual Spring Band Concert

East Stroudsburg University will present its 31st Annual Spring Band Concert on Sunday, April 22 at 4 p.m. in the Cecilia S. Cohen Recital Hall of the university’s Fine and Performing Arts Center, Normal and Marguerite streets, East Stroudsburg.
“Americana Bucket List” is the theme of the program which will feature works by Gould, Ticheli, Saucedo, Dello Joio, and Sousa. Vincent LoRusso, adjunct instructor of theatre, is director of the band.
As part of the program, the Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Jim Wilson, adjunct instructor of theatre, will perform Bombastix by Chris Crockarell, the Brain Slawson arrangement of Concerto in A minor by J.S. Bach, and Mah-Ná, Mah-Ná by Piero Umiliani.
The performance, sponsored by the ESU Department of Theatre, is open to the public at no cost.
