ESU to Hold Remembrance Day for Those Who Died This Past Year

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania will hold its Remembrance Day program on Friday, October 5, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. to honor the memories of university students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends who died during the 2017-2018 academic year (August 27, 2017-August 28, 2018). The program will be held in the Beers Lecture Hall on the front circle of campus and will include musical selections and reflections by ESU students, faculty, staff and alumni. Families of some of those who have passed will also attend and participate. The event is open to all members of the university and local communities.
This will be the university’s 11th Remembrance Day program. The service will be followed by a reception and a time for fellowship. For more information contact Brenda Friday, Ph.D., director, public relations at (570) 422-3455.
