Weekly Construction Update

Following is a summary of the planned construction activity for the week of February 27, 2012
Monroe Hall Renovation Project: – (Project Manager – John Bloshinski II jbloshinski@esu.edu Tel: 3631).
Exterior masonry complete. Installation of new exterior trim continues around the perimeter of the building and is expected to be complete this week. New gutter installation continues. Mechanical unit expected to be delivered this week and installed near the building addition; west side. New north entry porch work expected to begin this week. The third floor window sills and trim are expected to be installed. Tile is expected to begin in the third floor toilet rooms. Drywall instillation on the second floor continues; second floor drywall is 90% completed. Wall and window primer paint continues on the second floor. Metal stud framing is complete on the first floor and mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough ins are expected to be completed this week. Metal stud framing continues on the ground floor. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough-ins in the auditorium space are to be completed this week at the ceiling. Ceiling framing is expected to begin and be completed this week in the auditorium.
Expected Impact: Noise from deliveries and exterior work.
Marguerite St. Parking Lot: – (Project Manager – John Bloshinski II jbloshinski@esu.edu Tel: 3631)
Concrete sidewalk installation continues this week on the site across from the existing parking lot on Gwendolyn Street to create an additional parking lot for 102 cars.
Expected Impact: Noise, movement of construction vehicles around the site and possible dust.
