ESU Professor Receives Outstanding Alumni Award from University of Delaware

Shala Davis, Ph.D., professor of exercise science at East Stroudsburg University, was named the 2019 Outstanding Alumni for the Department of Kinesiology and Applied Physiology at the University of Delaware on Friday, June 7. Outstanding Alumni Awards are presented annually to an alumnus or alumna in recognition of their exemplary contributions and service to the community, their field, and/or their department.

Dr. Davis received a bachelor of science from the University of Delaware before going on to earn a master of science from Wake Forest University and her Ph.D. from the University of Virginia.
