East Stroudsburg University’s department of special education graduate program was recently included in an interview series on Applied Behavior Analysis.Edu’s website. Caroline DiPipi-Hoy, Ph.D., associate professor of special education and rehabilitation and VCS coordinator, answered questions about ESU’s program and her experiences as an educator. Dr. DiPipi-Hoy’s interview can be found on the website, appliedbehavioranalysisedu.org/east-stroudsburg-university-interview.
The interview coincides with ESU’s inclusion on the website’s 2017 rankings of top schools with online applied behavior analysis master’s and certificate programs.
According to appliedbehavioranalysisedu.org there are more than 200 graduate schools that offer the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BACB) approved Verified Course Sequence (VCS) as part of a master’s degree, advanced certificate, or stand-alone course sequence. The organization selected the 62 institutions they felt deserved to be recognized for offering the kind of quality, flexibility, and affordability ABA graduate students are looking for including online programs with little or no in-person requirements, annual graduate school tuition rates in-line with the national average for public and private institutions adjusted for location, and institutional accreditation through a regional and/or national agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
The website states “East Stroudsburg University has a long history of providing top-notch graduate programs in education, so it’s no surprise we are impressed with the ABA program offerings here. These online programs draw on the rich history of the education department here, offering interactive online study designed specifically for the working professional.”
