East Stroudsburg University will host EdCamp, a professional development opportunity for educators by educators. The camp will take place in Stroud Hall on ESU’s campus on Wednesday, August 14 from 8 a.m. – noon.
EdCamp will allow educators to design and attend sessions of their choice, depending on their needs. “At the start of the day participants will design desired sessions,” said Brooke Langan, director of field experiences and partnerships in ESU’s College of Education. “Participants will be able to share their areas expertise and attend sessions they want to learn more about. The idea is for each educator to walk away with information they can use with the students in their classroom immediately.”
EdCamp invites local educators to join ESU faculty and teacher candidates for this free event. Act 48 hours for Pennsylvania educators will be provided.
For more information and to register for the event, visit esu.edu/edcamp or contact Langan by calling 570-422-3413 or email Blangan1@esu.edu.
