Despite the fact that the spring 2020 semester at East Stroudsburg University was largely remote, students from ESU’s radio station, WESS (90.3 FM), made the unanimous decision to share their fundraising dollars with Meals On Wheels of Monroe County earlier this year, recognizing the need to help individuals within the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In doing so, Heidi Fareri, Executive Director for Meals on Wheels, reached out to the student leaders of WESS and invited them to come to the Meals On Wheels location to meet some of the volunteers and to learn more about the not-for-profit’s efforts.
