The Troiani-Sweeney Endowed Fund Lecture Series at ESU was held in the Niedbala Auditorium on Thursday, October 21.
This year’s keynote address Mary Mittelman, DrPH, was titled “The NYU Caregiver Program: A Journey from Clinical Practice to Research to Community Implementation.”
Now in its ninth year, the Troiani-Sweeney Endowed Fund Lecture Series at ESU was developed by graduates Linda (Troiani)’83 and Sam Niedbala ’82 to honor Linda’s sister, Yvonne Troiani Sweeney’78.
Yvonne is a 1978 graduate of ESU who dedicated her life to her nursing career that spanned 30 years until she was diagnosed with a form of early onset dementia called posterior cortical atrophy.
