ESU Announces Art + Media + Design Senior Show and Media Fair

East Stroudsburg University’s Art + Media + Design Department will host two end-of-year student showcases on April 23 and 29.

On Thursday, April 23, the Media Production Club will host the annual Art + Media + Design Media Fair featuring interactive student presentations, including video, VR, audio, photography, graphic design, 3D digital designs, animation, live streaming and performance. The event brings together creativity and technology in unexpected ways. The fair will take place in Rosenkrans from 6-10 p.m., and awards will be given out at 8 p.m. in Beers Lecture Hall. The theme of this year’s media fair is Freak Show.

On Wednesday, April 29, the Annual Art + Media + Design Senior Show will showcase a a major milestone for the students, showcasing their self-promotional portfolios and personal brands. The gallery will feature an impressive and diverse body of work, including professional websites, graphic and product design, illustration, 3D digital modeling, animation, video and film reels, photography, ceramics, and painting. With over 50 students represented, the exhibition reflects both the depth and breadth of talent within the department The reception will take place in the Madelon Powers Gallery, located in the university’s Fine and Performing Arts Center, Normal and Marguerite streets, from 4-6 p.m. The exhibition will remain open until Tuesday, May 5.
