President Robert J. Dillman Recognized by State System Board of Governors For Transformational Leadership

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania President Robert J. Dillman was presented with a resolution honoring his 16 years of transformational leadership by the Board of Governors for the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) during their meeting in Harrisburg on June 27.
A copy of the resolution was presented to Dr. Dillman (center) by Mr. Guido M. Pichini, chairman of the PASHHE Board of Governors (left) and Dr. John C. Cavanaugh, chancellor for PASSHE (right).
Dr. Dillman will retire as president of ESU on Saturday, June 30.
During his tenure, he has been credited with numerous academic enrichment initiatives, national and international partnerships, significant campus construction and renovation projects as well as other administrative achievements.
Dr. Marcia G. Welsh will assume the presidency of ESU on July 1.
Prior to her post at ESU, Dr. Welsh served as provost and interim president at Towson University in Maryland.
