With classes beginning on Monday, August 26, East Stroudsburg University students began moving into the residence halls, apartments, and suites on Friday, August 23. Approximately 40 members of the ESU faculty, staff and administration volunteered to welcome and assist students and their parents during this weekend of transition to college life. By Sunday evening, approximately 2,375 students will be moved in to their homes away from home.
There are several welcome events scheduled for students this weekend including: orientation programs, a bus trip to Dorney Park, a “drive-in” movie, and a formal Academic Convocation for new students followed by a picnic.
