In observance of Women’s History Month, East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania hopes to educate the campus community and general public about the dangers of relationship violence by showing the film, “Nobody’s Perfect,” from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, in Stroud Hall Room 117.
The action-thriller movie is a rags-to-riches story about a young woman who meets the man of her dreams, and she believes he has the perfect lifestyle and image. After getting to know each other and falling in love, they get married. But not long after, her perfect dream turns into a nightmare.
The producer, Derrick Simmons, who also has a starring role in the film, will host a question-and-answer session following the movie. Simmons has more than 100 television and film credits to his name, including Tyler Perry movies, Law & Order and the soon-to-be-released Amazing Spiderman 2.
Admission is free and open to the general public. For more information, contact Patricia Kashner, assistant to the vice president for student affairs, at 570-422-2863 or pkashner@esu.edu.
