Get in the Halloween spirit with a movie at East Stroudsburg University. ESU’s Campus Activities Board (CAB) invites the community to watch the 1993 Halloween classic Hocus Pocus on Friday, October 25 in the Niedbala Auditorium located inside Warren E. ’55 & Sandra Hoeffner Science and Technology Center (Room 117.) at 8 p.m. Pocono Cinema and Cultural Center (88 Courtland Street, East Stroudsburg) will provide free popcorn and candy for movie goers. The event is open to the public at no cost.

“We are excited to welcome our neighbors to campus for a festive fall night,” said Melissa Ciment, assistant director of student engagement.

According to Disney, Hocus Pocus, rated PG, is about “three outlandishly wild witches – Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy – who return from 17th century Salem after they’re accidently conjured up by some unsuspecting pranksters! It’s a night full of zany fun and comic chaos once the tricky 300-year-old trio sets out to cast a spell on the town and reclaim their youth – but first they must get their act together and outwit three kids and a talking cat!”
