Community Submissions For Exhibit Being Accepted

Active Minds, an East Stroudsburg University student organization that strives to change the conversation about mental health, is accepting submissions for an upcoming art exhibit titled Piece of Mind: An Exhibit with a Focus on Mental Health. Submissions will be accepted in the mediums of drawing, graphic design, painting, and visual poetry/spoken word. Each piece should depict something related to mental health.
Community member submissions will be accepted on Thursday, March 22 in Stroud Hall Room 118 from 2 – 4 p.m. Students, faculty and staff can submit their work on Friday, March 23 in Minsi Residence Hall from 1 – 6 p.m. The art will be displayed as an exhibit on Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m. in Common Grounds, located in the University Center.
Attendees of the exhibit will be able to vote on the pieces of art and two winning artists will receive a $50 Visa gift card.
