East Stroudsburg University Recognizes Student Organizations with Awards Banquet

East Stroudsburg University’s Student Activity Association in conjunction with the Student Government Association hosted their annual Student Organization Award Banquet on Wednesday, February 23. The banquet honored select clubs and organizations for their achievements during the 2021 calendar year.
Paige Maute, president of the Computer Science Organization, received the Robert J. Dillman Student Leader Impact Award. Jamie Knerr, a member of the Campus Activities Board received the Rising Star Award. Dr. Susan Dillmuth Miller, associate professor of communication sciences and disorders received the Outstanding Advisor Award for her role as advisor to the Sign Language Club.
During the banquet the following awards were presented:
- Most Active on Campus Award: Best Buddies
- Community Service/ Philanthropy Program Award: Computer Science Organization
- Most Active in the Community: Rotaract
- Multicultural Program Award: Latin American Association
- Educational Program Award: Hospitality Tourism Management Club
- Entertainment/Social Program Award: Campus Activities Board
- Most Involved in Fundraising: Student Pennsylvania State Education Association
- Fundraising Program/Event Award: Pi Epsilon
- Student Engagement Hero Award: Delta Chi Fraternity
- Gold Standard Award: Exercise Science Club and Sign Language Club
- Club of the Year Award: Sign Language Club
- Club Sports of the Year Award Contemporary Dance
