East Stroudsburg University Recognizes Student Organizations with Awards Banquet

Student Organization Awards Banquet

East Stroudsburg University’s Student Activity Association, in conjunction with the Student Government Association, hosted their annual Student Organization Awards Banquet on Sunday, April 6. The banquet honored select clubs and organizations for their achievements during the 2024 calendar year. During the banquet the following awards were presented:

Most Active on Campus – Outings Club; Most Active in the Community – MANA; Philanthropy – It’s On Us; Best Multicultural Program – NCNW Vision Board; Best Educational Program – Gallaudet University Trip, Sign Language Club; Best Entertainment/Social Program – 3/21 Day, Council for Exceptional Children; Best Fundraising Effort – Dance Team, DTF shirt campaign; Student Engagement Hero Award – Theta Chi; Club Sport of the Year – Women’s Rugby; and Club of the Year – MANA.

The Five-Star Organizations for 2024 were Environmental Club, Latin American Association, MANA, It’s On Us, and The Hidden Opponent.

Richermy Batista, a senior majoring in political science from Hazelton, Pa., received the Robert J. Dillman Student Leader Impact Award. Grace Boburka, a senior majoring in digital media technologies from Bethlehem, Pa., received the Rising Star Award. Ateshia Campbell, secretary for career and workforce development, received the Outstanding Advisor Award for her role as advisor to NCNW (National Council of Negro Women).
