ESU Bands to Present Salute To Veterans at 10th Annual Band-O-Rama on November 10

East Stroudsburg University Bands will present a Salute to Veterans at its 10th annual Band-O-Rama at 7 p.m., Sunday, November 10, at Stroudsburg High School’s auditorium, 1100 Main St., Stroudsburg.
One of the featured works, “Eternal Father” by American composer Claude T. Smith, will honor the United States Navy. The University Jazz Ensemble will present “Big Band Milestones” to highlight the World War II era.
The ESU Chamber Ensemble will perform “On a Hymnsong of Philip Bliss.” Other groups in the program include the Warrior Marching Band and Color Guard, and the ESU Cheerleaders.
The Band-O-Rama is a venture designed to have all the band ensembles perform at the same concert. All of the musical groups are directed by Otis C. French, Ph.D., associate professor of music. Laura DeFalco coaches the ESU Cheerleaders.
