ESU Foundation Welcomes Two New Members to Board of Directors

The East Stroudsburg University Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of two distinguished professionals to its Foundation Board of Directors. Sean A. Frazier ’11, C.P.A. and Dr. Anthony L. Drago ’76, Ed.D. bring with them a wealth of experience and a commitment to advancing the mission of the ESU Foundation. Their terms took effect on July 1, 2024, and will run for three years.
Frazier, the director of corporate development at Canyon Partners, LLC, a leading global alternative asset management firm, focuses on corporate finance, product development, and strategic partnerships. Frazier holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from St. John’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from ESU. He resides in New York City.
Dr. Drago, a distinguished clinical psychologist with over 40 years of experience, currently serves as chair and professor of psychology at ESU where he is recognized as a Distinguished Professor. He is also a member of the Allied Medical Staff at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono and Founder/Owner of Monroe Psychological Group. Drago holds a doctorate in counseling psychology from Lehigh University. He and his wife, Ellen, reside in Stroudsburg.
The ESU Foundation Board plays a critical role in advancing the university’s mission by supporting scholarships, faculty development, and initiatives that enhance the academic, athletic, and campus experience for students. The ESU Foundation Board of Directors includes MaryEllen Dickey ’80, Chair; Anthony V. Ruiz ’16 Esq., Vice Chair; Alfredo Garcia ’03,Treasurer; Robert Moses, Secretary; Glenn W. Clark ’74, ESU Alumni Association Liaison; George Fields, Jr. ’83; Raymond Hamlin ’86, Esq.; Wendy Jankoski ’82; Douglas Leonzi ’94; Christopher R. Paradysz ’83; John J. Pekarovsky III, ’07, Council of Trustees Liaison; Leslie L. Wilson, ’74; Eric Wyatt ’85; and Rory Yanchek ’84.
Adam Stauffer ’00 M’02, who served as board chair, Steve Somers, and Elizabeth Leigh Smith, who served as faculty liaison, concluded their terms on June 30, 2024. Their contributions to the ESU Foundation Board during their terms were greatly appreciated and valued.
Dickey expressed her delight at assuming the role of chair. “I am honored to take on this position and look forward to working with our incredible team and board to drive innovation, growth, and success for our organization. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Adam Stauffer for his work and commitment as chair of the board and Steve Somers and Leigh Smith for their contributions over the past several years. They will always be a special part of the ESU and Foundation family.”
