ESU Hosts “Spirituality and Academia” Seminar Later this Month

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Sociology, Social work and Criminal Justice will host three panelists as part of the Peter Roche De Coppens, “Spirituality Fund” on Tuesday, April 22, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Beers Lecture Hall.
Reverend Don Garrett, minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lehigh Valley, Rabbi Sholomo B. Levy, Northampton Community College associate professor of history, and Swamini Ramanada of the Institute of Vedanta & Sanskrit Arsha Vidya Gurukulam will be the featured panelists.
The panelists will discuss the connections between spirituality and academia drawing from their own spiritual and religious perspectives. They also will explore how spirituality can enhance campus diversity appreciation.
