On Tuesday, November 23, East Stroudsburg University hosted a Thanksgiving-style dinner for students who plan to stay on campus over the holiday. Offices in ESU’s Academic Affairs and Campus Life and Inclusive Excellence divisions teamed up to host the event, including International Programs, the Center for Multicultural Affairs and Inclusive Education, Health and Wellness (CAPS, Prevention and Wellness, and Fostering Warriors), Gender and Sexuality Center, Residential and Dining Services, and the Student Government Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
23 students attended the dinner that included turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, stuffing, roasted squash with carrots, green bean casserole, penne alfredo, and salad. Eight pies, four apple and four pumpkin, were donated by the social concerns committee of her Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church in Tannersville. More than 10 volunteers helped to set up and serve food.
