East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania invites alumni, students, faculty, staff, and members of the community to Homecoming 2017. This year’s theme, “Hollywood Homecoming,” will bring all the glitz and glam of Hollywood to ESU. An extended weekend packed with exciting activities kicks off October 19 with the 9th Annual Drag Show, hosted by Sharron Ann Husbands and Carolann Carolann, featuring the Hawthorn Hotties.
The main event will bring a bonfire to the rugby field behind Dansbury Commons. The bonfire will be the site of the Homecoming Royalty reveal, as well as feature performances from different organizations on campus. The bonfire will take place on Friday, October 20 from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.
The Alumni Association welcomes back all alumni including the Class of 1967 who will be celebrating their 50 year reunion. This year’s Homecoming festivities also reach beyond campus and into the community, with 20 businesses in Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg participating in a Paint the Town competition.
