East Stroudsburg University’s Mu Epsilon chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, the honorary band fraternity, invites the campus and community to a holiday festival on Friday, December 4 at 8 p.m. outside Abeloff Center for the Performing Arts on ESU’s College Circle.
Anyone who plays a musical instrument is invited to join the festival ensemble. Registration for musicians will be held from 6-7 p.m. in the Abeloff Center, followed by a one-hour rehearsal. There is a $5 registration fee for musicians, which includes a surprise gift.
The performance will begin on College Circle at 8 p.m. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside Abeloff. Lance Rauh, temporary instructor of music and director of the University/Community Concert Band, will direct the festival musicians.
The general public is invited to watch the performance free of charge. To encourage audience participation, lyric sheets will be provided. Refreshments also will be available.
