ESU Public Relations Student Society Hosts Alumni Networking Event

On Saturday, April 15, East Stroudsburg University’s department of communication and the ESU chapter of the student organization Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) welcomed 12 alumni back to campus for Path to the Peak conference.
The student-led event featured alumni who served as panelists throughout the day, sharing their experiences and insights with current students on the public relations industry. A networking dinner was held after the daylong conference.
The alumni panelists included: Samantha Nosti ’14, senior account executive, client navigation at Green Room Communications; Robert Regan ’13, director, client success at MadHive; Jamal Cooley ’20, social media coordinator at Philadelphia Eagles; Austin Weitman ’22, account executive at Madison Square Garden; Amanda Forgione ’11, head of marketing and communications at Beeler.Tech; Laurie Monteforte ’05, founder & CEO of Strong Mountain Media, Inc.; Avery Gardner ’13, employee communications at ServiceNow; Alyssa Calilap ’12, global employee experience lead, consumer healthcare at Sanofi; Katie Johnstone ’13, social media officer at CDC Foundation; Laura Null ’18, marketing operations specialist at Lutron Electronics; Brianna Carty ’20, digital media specialist at iNvolved Media; and Dana Coppola ’19, public relations specialist at Embrace Relief.
